I am an Architect based near the city of Manchester with tutoring experience at various Universities in the Midlands.

I can offer construction & design tutorials to Part I and Part II students. I can also offer support to students completing their Part III document submission.

I studied my Part II at the Centre for Alternative Technology, and have a keen focus on creating truly low carbon designs.

My practical build experience has developed with materials such as concrete, steel and brick. Also well as non-mainstream materials including hemp and lime, straw, compacted earth, and locally sourced timber.

I currently work at a property development company based in Manchester with a focus on converting Historic Listed Buildings into high-end residential accommodation.

Four years commercial experience in the Healthcare sector ranging from Concept, Full Business Case to Hand-Over Completion Stages

One year experience at the City of Lincoln Council using Townscape Assessments and creating 3D visuals to critically appraising planning applications.

One year experience in an Environmental Social Enterprise. This two man design team was based within a 34 acre ancient woodland. We designed and constructed truly low carbon projects including our own off-grid timber and strawbale accommodation.

Experienced tutor having taught at various Universities including Nottingham Trent, Lincoln, Sheffield Hallam University, Nottingham and Cairo University.

Experience in presenting to 200+ students, one to one design studio tuition and typical class size practical seminars in construction.
