I am a Mathematics graduate with extensive tutoring experience, tutoring students of all levels in Maths and English from Primary to GCSE level. I am a dedicated and very patient tutor who thrives to get the best of the students I teach.
I know from experience that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching. The teaching style at school didn’t always fit my own style of learning so I believe in understanding my student’s needs and personal learning style, and adapting my teaching to their needs. I look to inspire students in their subjects and try to find the best techniques to help each student learn and absorb.
Availability: Weekdays - 18:30 - onwards
Weekends - All day
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: I have been tutoring Primary level, KS3 and GCSE Maths along with Primary level and KS3 English to children for numerous years. I have also run tutoring sessions students during the summer holiday at summer camps. I have worked with various different teachers across different schools to help develop my teaching techniques.

I was very lucky to have Sachin teach me University level Algebra and Statistics in the Spring of 2019. I am an older student who had not previously had a good experience of Algebra and therefore I was very apprehensive around the subject. Sachin was a very positive teacher who sparked off a genuine interest in the subject for me. His explanations of all the mathematical theories were concise and easy to understand, he was always available to help at short notice. He was kind, patient and extremely supportive. He was well prepared, punctual and professional in the lessons. Overall, he was a very positive influence and helped me to enjoy the experience of learning Algebra. The final outcome was I achieved 88:21% overall and 100% in the final exam. I would absolutely recommend Sachin as a teacher to anyone of any age. Thank you. Anne

Sachin has been teaching my daughter for quite some time, he is an excellent tutor and has great interpersonal skills. He understands how to establish chemistry and motivate the student to bring the best out of them. He initially starts lesson by building rapport and then moves onto clearly working through any maths problems he also provides techniques and extra homework to enable my daughter to gain confidence in her maths ability in preparation for her GCSE. His academic and professional record is impressive and the reason for my choosing him. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an experienced maths tutor.
