Information about Ieva

I am a freelance filmmaker with background in literature and fine art, I have been working with both children and adults for the past three years, running theater and film making workshops as well as giving private art and English lessons. I enjoy getting to know my students and tailoring a lesson plan for each and everyone of them.

Availability: I am flexible through the whole week.

Experience: I have been giving private tutorials for both adults and children since 2014, I work with pupils of all levels from the very beginners to ones wishing to prepare for their exams. I specialize in European and ancient literature and am able to guide one through essay and creative writing process. Being a working artist filmmaker I offer a hands on approach to studying.

I looked for a teacher to improve my language fluency. Ieva has been teaching me for a last month. Ieva is a great English teacher, with a good eye to student`s weak areas, and effective methods to address the difficulties. Ieva uses diverse exercises, we cover grammar and everyday use of language. Many exercises encourage creative thinking in English. She is punctual, and gives fair amount of homework. I see positive effect of our lessons and would highly recommend Ieva.

I am very grateful Ieva for her help. She is a great support for me and very dedicated. Ieva is calm and friendly and makes the sessions enjoyable. She managed to understand and focus that I really need. She offered me his great own personal advice and skills, what was really beneficial. I would highly recommend her to those looking for a tutor.
