Information about Jacqueline
Hi! My name is Jacqueline and I was a secondary school English teacher. I have taught KS3 and KS4 English for 17 years in a variety of state schools and one independent school in West Yorkshire. I qualified as a fully trained teacher in July 2004 having completed the Graduate Teaching Program, learning `on the job` and from teacher training through Kirklees MC / University of Huddersfield. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Humanities, which included English as my specialism - degree classification 2:1. I am now an Examinations Manager, still working in a high school and doing occasional cover lessons when required. I am also a Mum to two teenagers.
Availability: Tuesday - Friday after school / evenings
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: - Familiar with the AQA and Edexcel exam boards for GCSE English Language and English Literature.
- Wide range of English subject knowledge and curriculum requirements at KS3 and KS4.
- Some experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 Science.

Excellent! Seeing my son`s confidence grow each week has been amazing. His tutor (Jac) has taught him so much in preparing for his English GCSEs. She`s always offering advice and techniques to assist his thought processes. I would definitely recommend to anyone seeking private tuition. She is extremely patient and calm with a positive attitude.

Jac has been really supportive of my son and very helpful with English writing techniques. She always gives him work and checks how he answers questions. She directs his work in line with the topics and texts he is studying for GCSE which my son has found tremendously helpful.
