I am a friendly,energetic student focussed tutor who can quickly adapt my teaching style to an individual`s needs and goals.
My aim is to give the student more confidence in their ability as well as helping with specific areas were they may be struggling.
I find people learn best when they are relaxed and fully engaged in the process. Students often describe my lessons as ‘fun’ so I know that we achieve this together.
As an examiner myself I have extensive knowledge of exam techniques that can boost grades.
I am flexible and accommodating about arranging sessions and give regular feedback to parents where appropriate.

Experience: I have over 20 years of classroom teaching of Maths and Further Maths. Along side the school teaching, I have also offered individual tutoring for many years and enjoyed it so much that I decided to do this full time. This gives me the flexibility to offer a fully professional and individual service.
I specialise in Maths and Physics to A level/IB and Science to GCSE/IGCSE but I am happy to tutor maths at any level.
I have successfully supported engineering, economics and psychology undergraduates with the maths elements of their courses. In particular, I am very familiar with the maths and mechanics modules for Engineering at for UWE.
I am also a Further Maths A level examiner.
