Edoardo

Professional bass player with 10 years of experience on the instrument and a BMus in Popular Music Performance. He has just started an MMus in ethnomusicology at SOAS, getting to know music and cultures from all over the world to expand both his knowledge and musical skills.

He is currently performing regularly with 2 projects. Gemini Trio: a contemporary Jazz trio with mainly original compositions and an arrangement based approach to songwriting even within a typically improvisational context. He plays electric bass but often swaps roles with the guitar, taking solos, melody lines or harmonized lines with effects.
The Saloon League: a retro/swing/ragtime band on the style of Postmodern Jukebox, available for functions and high end restaurants/hotels. He plays double bass and explores harmony by being the motor of the band. He also sporadically plays with the famous Italian Indie band Pinguini Tattici Nucleari as a dep fo their bass player, performing in some of the best stages in Italy.

Edoardo has been teaching for a while now, passing down his knowledge to young students and adults alike. The lessons are customized to meet the needs and interests of every student, focusing on the basics you need to grow as a musician but never forgetting the fun side of playing. He provides teaching resources and material for your learning needs, and has a purpose built home studio where parents are invited to audit.
