Information about David

**Not in London or the UK. Sorry for the inconveniences!!**

Hello! I am a native Spanish tutor currently studying at University College London (UCL).

I completed the IB diploma (in Spanish) with Spanish, English and Philosophy at higher level, and Maths, Biology and Business at standard level, with an overall mark of 38 points. At the same time, I completed the Spanish equivalent of A-levels achieving 13.67/14. In the IB, I got 7/7 in Spanish, and I won the first position in the Community of Madrid in the Spanish and Latin American Orthography Contest.

I have always studied in Spanish, but I am also fluent in English and French. Currently I study at University College London (UCL) and read European Social and Political Studies, which mainly involves French, Politics and Philosophy.

I am flexible and adapt to the student’s needs and desires regarding the methodology and strictness. I am very knowledgeable about technical aspects of the language (especially in the case of Spanish), such as grammar, orthography (spelling) and syntax. However, I understand not everybody enjoys such a technical approach, so I will adapt to what the student prefers, e.g. a more conversation-based approach, finding specific aspects of the Spanish or Francophone culture to which she can relates, such as music, cinema, other arts and culture, or current afairs and politics, amont others.

If you have any question regarding my timetable or myself, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Availability: I am free most evenings and the weekends. Do not hesitate to contact me to arrange a convenient timetable.
If the student prefers, our classes do not have to take place in a weekly basis or every week at the same time.

Willing to travel: 50 miles

Experience: I have worked for two years as a tutor for kids from 10 to 15 years old. I taught a wide range of subjects, from Spanish and English to Mathematics, Music, History and Biology.
I have also mentored younger students at university.

David has been a great tutor. He is very punctual and he has always been prepared for our lessons. My ability to communicate in Spanish has definitely improved in the time he’s been teaching me - both written and spoken.

David is a brilliant tutor. I managed to get top marks in my latest assignment. David is patient, organised, curteous and very knowledgeable. I was very lucky to have found him. David is studying himself, so his notes and way of teaching is up to date and extremely relevant. I thoroughly, recommend David .
