I am currently working as a part time maths teacher in secondary education in the Reading area having earned my PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status course in secondary education for Mathematics in the previous academic year. I have taught students aged 11 - 18 in Hampshire and Wokingham schools of all attainment and ability levels seen in mainstream education with some experience working with SEND students. I previously graduated from the University of Exeter in Civil Engineering and as such the way that I teach is very much based around the application of mathematical theories and skills as I believe this to not just make subjects more engaging but also aids with the learning process.

Availability: Weekdays: 5pm - 10pm
Saturday: 7am - 6pm

Experience: I am currently working part time as a maths teacher in secondary education (KS3, GCSE and A level) having recently completed a PGCE course through the University of Reading where I have had experience teaching a wide variety of ability levels in secondary education.

I believe that when tutoring it is vital to come up with a plan tailored to each students individual needs whether that be identifying whether the student needs to practice answering various exam style questions, consolidating learning taking place in their regular lesson or if they need stretching beyond what is being covered in class to better prepare them for the next stage in their education.
