Information about Marston
Sciences and maths are often seen as abstract subjects, especially when aiming for top grades. As a third year medical student at Imperial College with extensive tutoring experience, I appreciate these difficulties. I aim to guide students to develop the deep level of understanding required to achieve good grades in these subjects.
An important part in achieving a student`s potential is mastery of the so called `Exam Technique`. During my A Levels - where I came top of my year - I am well placed to advise students on how to lay out answers to gain the most marks and avoid common pitfalls. This is especially important in Physics and Maths the process of getting the answer scores more marks than the actual answer itself!
In my time at Imperial I have ranked in the top 10%, gaining a Distinction* (Star) this demonstrates my excellent grasp of the sciences, particularly biology. My goal is to pass along my knowledge and skills to students and share my passion for the sciences.
Furthermore, I am keen to support prospective medical students in their applications to medical school, having successfully applied to and received offers from the top London medical schools. I offer advice sessions for the UKCAT, in which I scored an 840 average and I also offer BMAT tuition, mock interviews and personal statement guidance. Please feel free to contact me to discuss this.
Having tutored for years in a professional capacity, I look forward to guiding students in their learning to achieve all that they wish to achieve in life. If you are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic tutor please do get in touch.

Experience: I have tutored through Kumon since year 10, helping students of every ability: I taught students in Year 7 who are working at A Level standard. I have taught GCSE students aiming for grade C. My tutoring approach is flexible and I aim to ensure that no matter what ability level a student is at, they achieve their full potential.
In 2013 I was promoted to a Senior Class Assistant at Kumon, reflecting my professionalism and my ability to bring out the best in students.
In addition, throughout high school and sixth form I helped younger students develop their reading and numeracy through paired schemes, which was very rewarding and I enjoyed the experience immensely. I have also tutored over the past three years at university.
Please feel free to get in touch as I am flexible around my university timetable.
