Information about Alexia
I recently graduated from the London School of Economics with a BA in International History. I focussed mainly on twentieth century history and I am particularly interested in the 1st/2nd World Wars and the Cold War. I am very comfortable with teaching the IB History as well as OCR and AQA syllabus for GCSE and A Level students.

History- A Level/IB (£30)

I grew up in South Africa before moving to the UK to do my IB. I love to play Capoiera, a Brazilian martial art. I also love jazz music and play both the flute and the saxophone.
I`m just about to start studying the GDL at the University of Law in London, so I will soon be a trainee solicitor at a law firm called Clifford Chance.
Availability: Weekday evenings from 5pm onwards
Anytime during the weekend
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I am still relatively new to private tutoring, although I do have a variety of experiences teaching groups at schools. Previously, I worked for 6 weeks tutoring English and History at EducAid during which time my students` grades and confidence in their skills noticeably improved. I was also a student mentor at LSE helping first year students improve their essay writing and study skills.
I offer the first hour of tutoring for free as a trial run so you can decide whether you think the sessions will be useful.
