Experience: Now, I am a mathematics teacher with 20 years experience of classroom teaching and nearly 20 years of one-one private tutoring. I have just completed 15 years at a college in South West London teaching mainly A Level and GCSE maths.
I have experience of teaching the following A level maths modules C1, C2, C3, C4, S1, S2, FP1, FP2, FP3, M1, M2, M3 and GCSE maths. I also have experience of marking A level exam paper for Edexcel. While being a teacher at a college I am at present giving tuition in GCSE, A Level and AL Further Maths.
I am also developing resources and writing a series of books in maths.
Generally, in tutoring my primary approach is to hear and understand student`s needs in the subject and respond accordingly. Depending on the individual case I use a diagnostic test to identify students strengths and weaknesses. I always provide the student with the overview of the subject and what to look out for. I point out common mistakes and misconceptions. I demonstrate good presentation of answers. I work through past papers with the student. Homework is a part and parcel of my tutoring. I consider tutoring as a two way dialogue between the tutor and the student in which the student is able to freely discuss their difficulties and confusions and receive guidance in how to improve their standard. I do not follow a rigid prescri ptive approach but use my knowledge and experience to respond appropriately.

Mr Jesurasa is a fantastic tutor. He explains concepts very clearly and patiently, and is clearly committed to ensuring his students have a proper understanding of the subject they are studying. He is tutoring my son for A Level maths and further maths. My son enjoys tuition time with his tutor, and is making great progress in both subjects. We have no hesitation in strongly recommending Mr Jesurasa as a tutor.
