I am currently studying for a masters in vocal performance at the Royal College of Music having recently completed my undergraduate degree in Music at the University of Durham. I offer singing lessons as well as tuition in music theory and music history. My tutorials are tailor-made so as to suit the needs of each individual student and my approach to singing lessons is also based on each individual voice and it`s unique characteristics. Depending on these individual needs I will design a programme of tuition that sets out key aims and targets so that we have tangible and realistic goals to strive for. Whether this be a solid singing technique that allows for beauty of expression as well as vocal flexibility, or an established understanding of the basic principles of music theory through which we can develop a broad and thorough knowledge of the academic side of music.

Availability: My availability during the working week is largely dependent on my studies at the Royal College of Music but usually I have a fairly flexible schedule. I am available for tutoring after school as well as at the weekends so please don`t hesitate to get in touch with your preferred times and I`ll see how we can fit it in.

Experience: I have a great deal of experience in tutoring students for upcoming exam papers such as GCSE or A-Level as well as aiding students in developing a thorough understanding of musical theory so as to sit the ABRSM theory examinations. As well as this my current studies in classical singing at the Royal College of Music has provided me with a wealth of knowledge in singing technique, musical interpretation and individual artistic expression whilst developing my proficiency in the opera languages (Italian, German and French) and thus I can coach students on many varied and interesting genres of vocal music.
