I am a very approachable tutor who has considerable experience teaching one-to-one, explaining difficult concepts clearly and getting the best out of students.
I work with students in order to built their self esteem and confidence in areas they find challenging. During the summer I work with students who are intending to take Chemistry at A Level in order to bridge the sometimes considerable gap between GCSE level and A Level, ensuring they are fully prepared to start the course. A full understanding of areas such as Structure and Bonding and Mole Calculations are a considerable boost for students starting their AS course in September.

Availability: I am available daily Monday to Friday and weekends by prior arrangement.

Experience: I am a highly experienced secondary school teacher, who has taught a range of abilities from 11-18 in Science and Maths. I have taught at and been Head of Department in a top-ten secondary school, achieving outstanding results at GCSE and A Level and supporting successful Oxbridge applicants.
I am also an experienced tutor of Science and an experienced GCSE exam marker for AQA.
