Hello everyone. I am a professional vocal coach with a long established history of teaching and coaching all ages and levels.

";Vasili K, a vocal coach and singing teacher in London (The Vocal Coach London), said he has witnessed the benefits singing can have on people’s mental health on numerous occasions.
“Whether it’s a banker who is seeking a form of mental relaxation, a teenager who feels uncertain about himself or a mum tired of daily obligations - after the first session, 99% of my pupils break all the psychological barriers and feel happy about themselves, uplifted, energised and focused,” he told HuffPost UK.
“In my opinion, even humming without any words with a closed mouth will uplift your energy. You can simply vocalise some easy scales or try to sing together with your favourite singer. Do not go for technically difficult songs.
“Good choices for new parents would be ‘Amazing Grace’ or ‘Dreamed A Dream’ from Les Mis. Many of Elton John’s songs are great to sing as well. If you like jazz, songs from Billie Holiday’s repertoire will also be great.
“The main idea behind is that you focus on the text and the melody. I assure you the magic of singing will bring the most joyful result.”

I completed my opera education in the UK in International Opera School Royal College of Music and with principal coaches of Royal Opera House and English National Opera. I worked with major vocal coaches of Italy and Europe.

Additionally, to the process of singing itself the very important component which I add is phrasing. Voice can be beautiful not only by the level of singing technique but also by the depth of understanding and imagination of performer. I prefer to work with these both parts equally.

I am working with breathing technique, the projection of the sound, phrasing and many other things.

Mainly, I am focused on Italian classical style of opera singing, though very often I am working with students under other styles, I worked recently with the cast of Guy Ritchie for his new film Alladin and back vocalist of Adele, for example.

My advice regarding freedom in your singing:

In the very beginning of trying to explore our vocal potential, it is essential to completely exclude the movement of shoulders whilst we are breathing. The majority of vocal teachers of the past emphasised the importance of involving the lower part of the lungs in the process of breathing for singers. From the point of view of human physiology, it can be easily explained - lungs become wider at the bottom. If we do not breath ";;;;;;;low";;;;;;;, firstly we will use only 50% of our potential in terms of oxygen. Secondly, it is simply impossible to then support our lungs and breath properly with the diaphragm (the muscles just under the lungs).



It takes time to find your own voice. You need to be true to yourself. It is so important not to give your voice extra weight or to have it too light. You will need to find the balance - ";;;;;;; chiaro scuro";;;;;;; , as Italian masters say ( light and dark). A sound that has a balance of overtones will fly, and will also allow singers built up a good vocal range.

I decided to learn singing just for the fun of it and I have now taken lessons with Vasili for a few months. Those moments are just fantastic. Vasili is supportive, enthusiastic, and gives me confidence, by using an array of technics. The perfect combination of fun and rigour. Vasili’s voice is superb...and mine is improving 😉;;;;;;;;;;;;;;.

Vasili is a very passionate teacher who inspires and motivates his students. In my case he found my weakness in our first lesson and with his approach and technique he showed me how to ‘fix’ it. Now I know how to work and that it is important to be patient with myself and the process. I am very grateful that I found such a wonderful teacher. Everyone who wants to take it to the next level should do at least one lesson with Vasili - I am sure you will be very pleased with the results.

Vasili’s coaching has been a revelation for me. He has a very positive approach and is technically excellent. It was hard to adjust initially but I have made big improvements in a relatively short time. Plus it’s been great fun.

Mr. Vasili is an amazing voice teacher. He is an experienced singer and is skilled exploring students’ vocal potentials. I had very little knowledge about techniques prior to meeting him, and had doubt about my ability to sing solos. But Vasili was very supportive and was clear in his illustrations. And through just a few lessons I found myself singing with more confidence and with a lot more control over my voice. I took away a lot from Vasili, and I truly recommend him for those who love singing and want to learn more about it.
