I have worked with students one to one or in small groups frequently before and so have a range of activities, tasks and methods for improving grades in A level Psychology and Sociology. I take a patient, flexible and friendly approach. I welcome students taking the lead in identifying how they will benefit from the sessions the most and identifying their strengths and weaknesses in the course. My experience in marking will benefit any student due to thorough feedback, and improve their ability to adapt to the appropriate exam technique to reach their full potential in exam conditions.

Availability: Potentially any day. Mornings, afternoons, after school and evenings.

Experience: I have been teaching in central London for 6 years qualified and run the Psychology and Social Sciences departments in my school. I have a strong 4 year trend in A level results in Psychology particularly for securing C grades and stretching those who grasp Psychology with ease up to As and A*s. I have a First Class Psychology degree with honours and I am most familiar with AQA specification however can adapt to both Edexcel and OCR. I have done examiner marking for 3 years and therefore I am aware of the demands and skills necessary when applying the content learned. My summer 2017 A level results on the new specification, which is arguably more challenging, were outstanding. I would be happy to provide statistics on contact. I have since moved into international teaching of A level Psychology and Sociology (AQA) and GCSE Psychology (Edexcel). I have also taught GCSE Sociology in my career.
