Hello. I am an experienced tutor and teacher and I am currently tutoring A level biology and GCSE biology. I have experience of teaching in both state and private sector and I have held several positions of responsibility including subject leader for biology and deputy head of sixth form. I am currently tutoring AQA and OCR A level biology and AQA GCSE biology.
I also have experience of preparing students for University and Oxbridge and have attended the Cambridge summer school to understand this process more fully. I have a very good working understanding and knowledge of the UCAS application process.
Availability: I am only available for online tuition.

We engaged Sally for a few sessions to help my daughter with her A level Biology end of year exams to improve her chances at a good predicted grade. There was not much wrong with her understanding but she was struggling with answering A level style questions. Sally was excellent and approachable. In a short space of time my daughter improved her mark by 25% from her previous test and increased her grade to an A. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Sally is an excellent tutor! She is very professional and is extremely nice, making me feel comfortable and confident to ask questions and express my opinions. Sally knows the material very well and conveys it in an enthusiastic and fun manner, making biology enjoyable. She provides tricks to remember the harder topics and makes difficult topics become easy. She puts an emphasis on practice questions and past papers. I will whole-heartedly recommend her to everyone!
