I have a BA in Creative Writing from London Metropolitan University and achieved a high 2:1. My course covered a wide range of study both in creative writing and English literature. The creative writing aspect of my course allowed me to learn a lot about writing poetry, historical fiction, journalism, children’s literature, prose, autobiography as well as editing. I specialised in writing for theatre for my dissertation I wrote a 45 minute play for which I received a 1st. Alongside my own creative writing, I also studied a wide variety of literary works. I have extensive experience in essay writing, research, and analysis of literary and academic texts.
Since graduating in 2010 I have worked in a variety of roles. I worked for Media Trust as a production assistant, researching and organising documentary-based shoots. I then went on to work at Red Bee Media where I was responsible for co-ordinating the production and delivery of DVD subtitles for clients such as BBC, C4 and various other ad-hoc clients. One aspect of this job involved proof reading. I progressed within the company to a role as a picture researcher before moving on to pursue more creative work.
I am passionate about helping students improve in both English and art and feel confident that I can provide fun and productive private tuition that will allow your child to excel in these subjects.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

I have recently started running workshops for children aged 4 – 13 in The Club at the Ivy in Covent Garden. I have learned how to best teach children of all ages and to treat each child I teach as an individual. I encourage children to develop their skills and creativity through discussion, games and activities.
