Hello,

My name is Emma. I am a enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Nursery Teacher/ Early years practitioner from North London.

I have 4 years experience in Early years, both in Nursery and Reception.

One of my passions as a Early years practitioner it being able to teach children how to read. There is nothing more rewarding than teaching young learners a life long skill.

I follow a programme called Read Write Inc, which is used in many schools. However I do have knowledge of other schemes including Jolly Phonics, Letters and Sounds and Phono-Graphix.

If your child is starting Reception in September and you would like to start the Early reading process now, then that is definitely something I can do! Or perhaps your child needs an extra boost to meet age related goals. I can facilitate my sessions to meet the needs of each individual leaner.

Willing to travel: 50 miles

Experience: I have 3 years experience teaching Reception children and 1 year Nursery experience.

I also taught in a SEN school for a year.

I studied at Chickenshed, which is an inclusive theatre company based in North London.
