A previous English teacher for 3 years, teaching Year 7 - Year 11 English language and literature. I have excellent experience with the new grade 1-9 system and understand the requirements for the grade boundaries. I have taught the new AQA GCSE specification (English language and literature papers) and I have also taught the Edexcel GCSE English literature and language. Having tutored for 2 years, I have received excellent personal testimonies from various tutees.

I`m motivated to provide tailored and unique tutoring to ensure tutees experience progress and development whilst finding a passion for English. I am experienced with all aspects of English secondary teaching.

Availability: Weekday evenings. 6-8pm

Saturday mornings 10-12pm

Experience: I graduated the Teach First leadership development programme and have taught a range of classes which gives me the required experience to tailor tutoring sessions to a range of different abilities.

My knowledge of English will ensure that I can support pupils of all levels and as I have previously worked at different secondary schools, my knowledge of the curriculum change is excellent and I have designed whole schemes of learning for the new GCSE specification. I was also part of the school improvement group, ensuring I was at the leading edge of new teaching and learning ideas.
