Hello!

I am an enthusiastic Psychology and study skills tutor with a first class degree in Forensic Psychology.

I have over 10 years experience within mental health services, 3 years experience within acquired brain injury and 2 years experience within learning disability services. I obtained a a level 3 award in Education and Training in 2015 - teaching further education to young adults.

I currently work full time managing a small charity in St Albans. I continue to tutor A level and Psychology undergraduates on the weekends and evenings.

Availability: Tuesday and Thursdays. The occasional weekend morning.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have been tutoring part time for over 3 years. I tutor undergraduate students and those studying A level AQA and OCR. I provide my students with engaging study materials and teach to well thought out, and well structured lesson plans. I encourage my students to reach for the highest grade they feel is achievable to them. Sessions are always centred around the individual and aim to build the students confidence.

Emily is a fantastic psychology tutor, I would have no hesitation in recommending her. My daughter initially struggled at the start of her A level course, consistently gaining c`s or d`s in her tests. Following work with Emily she regularly hits an A or B and has been predicted a B on her UCAS form. Hugely supportive tutor, we are very pleased we found her.
