BSc Psychology graduate from the University of Reading with 5 years experience tutoring.

I have a great passion for teaching and have always been a proactive student. I have gained experience as a peer mentor, reading mentor and study mentor for numerous students throughout my time at college. During my previous experience tutoring, I have designed individual student specific lesson plans tailored to the students` needs and what I believe would help them to progress effectively. As well as an organised and flexible lesson plan, I design monthly tests to check on the students` progress and highlight any topics which they may need to revisit. I know of many great resources which I can recommend parents to purchase in order to further aid their children`s progress.

I`m able to proofread and edit essays for students at any level up to A Level and having done so in the past has helped students move up a grade solely based on grammar and language editing. As well as essays, I can offer advice and guidance on writing personal statements, both for college and university applications. This can be done by e-mailing me a copy of the document and having me add on notes and adjustments, or a one-to-one session, whatever is preferred.

Apart from a love for teaching, I enjoy going to the theatre with friends, reading and writing and all things creative. My hobbies include drawing, painting, doing henna and making jewellery.
