Information about Rosa

Hi, I`m Rosa!

I’m a 28-year-old psychology PhD student at a London university. My research is focusing on learning processes, performance and research methods learning.

I have a keen interest in psychology as well as learning and teaching. I`m particularly passionate about helping psychology students with their research projects and anything related to research methods.

I have a master’s degree in research methods in psychology from Goldsmiths University as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology. During both my masters and bachelor’s degrees, I also worked as a research assistant helping on several research projects.

Before starting my PhD, I worked at West London University as a drop-in support and mentoring coordinator for two years. This role involved helping students with academic writing, time management and understanding course requirements. I worked particularly closely with the School of Psychology, Social Work & Human sciences, helping students with their research projects, statistics and SPSS. I also helped students from different disciplines with editing and proofreading coursework.

I have experience of teaching on research methods, data analysis, cognitive psychology and individual differences modules, and I hold Associate fellowship with the HEA.

My extensive experience in research has provided me with knowledge of advanced research methods, statistics and statistical packages, including SPSS.
