Information about Firnaaz
I am a first-year student studying Medicine at the University of Cambridge. Recently, I have completed my A-Levels at King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys and achieved 4 A* grades in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. As a tutor, I would be able to share the academic skills and knowledge that I have acquired with younger students. I would work with students to look at their specific queries and develop thorough topic knowledge, offer homework support and help them to tackle exam questions. I believe that my strong foundation and interest in my subjects would allow me to be an effective and engaging tutor at all levels, ranging from KS3, GSCE and A-Level.
Availability: Available on most days (until September 26th).
Willing to travel: 1 miles
Experience: GCSE: 10 A*
FSMQ (Free Standing Mathematics Qualification): 97/100
A-Level: 4 A*
I have also achieved Gold awards in the British Biology Olympiad, UK Chemistry Olympiad, Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, Physics Challenge and UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge.
During my education at King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys, I have regularly supported both my classmates and students in lower years through mentoring schemes in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have helped students to develop an understanding of core concepts that underpin the subject and subsequently use this knowledge to answer questions, particularly extended response questions at GCSE and A-Level.
