Experience: Sarah began her teaching career at the Royal Grammar School in Worcester; teaching all Sciences to years 7-11 and specialising in Physics at A-level. She coordinated the KS3 curriculum, ran the Dyson-Perrins Scientific Society for younger students with enquiring minds and helped to coordinate STEM events for local primary schools.
Over the past 3 years, Sarah has been working with an increasing number of students with additional needs, including SEN and anxiety, at a specialist school in Birmingham. Sarah has worked with children on the autistic spectrum throughout her career and has received extensive training to help these students reach their potential personally and academically. Recently, Sarahs work has focussed on adapting teaching for individuals, developing specific and differentiated interventions for students lacking in self confidence, and creating assessment specific resources that can improve examination and revision techniques.
With student experience at the heart of everything she does; Sarah believes that access to resources, specific feedback, positive reinforcement and adaptable explanations enable students of all ages to increase their self confidence, ability and access Science in a positive way.

My son Jamie has benefited immensely from online lessons with Sarah for his GCSE Physics. Sarah has been patient with him and really helped him to understand topics he was unclear about. She has been very flexible with his sometimes changing plans with other commitments and has a really engaging approach to teaching which has helped make the all subject material interesting. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah as an online tutor.

Thank you Sarah. My daughter Sophie was struggling with a particular topic; Sarah clarified the content in both a personable and professional way. We will undoubtedly ask Sarah for tuition again.

Maureen has learned a lot from Sarah in just a few weeks. She said she has a better understanding of all sciences than she did before her sessions from Sarah. Sarah always gives appropriate work and questions and explains the concepts that Maureen does not understand in a way that is very effective. Would recommend!
Tutors Response :
Thank you so much Gemma! I`m glad Maureen is enjoying the sessions, she is working really hard and is very motivated to make progress and understand things.
