Miles

I am an experienced university senior law lecturer, and spent 14 years teaching on the LLB at the University of Hertfordshire. I am currently an associate lecturer at UEA, and also at University of Suffolk. I have also taught A level law at a local further education college.

I have an LLB in Law and LLM in Telecommunications law. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I hold a current enhanced DBS check (October 2019).

I also have previous experience of teaching adult literacy and IT in a further education college and have teaching qualifications.

I am an open, flexible and encouraging teacher who is good at motivating pupils and creating a happy and enjoyable teaching experience

Experience: I am proficient in teaching Criminal Law, EU Law, Intellectual Property Law (my specialist field) and the Law of Tort. I also have experience in teaching Contract Law, Commercial Law and Employment Law.

I have also taught law at A level and as part of a BTEC course. I have experience of one-to-one and classroom teaching, both live and online. I have written and marked exams and coursework at degree level, prepared and delivered lectures and created module materials.
