I have been a teacher for 30 years, specialising in Physics and (strangely) SEN. I have been rated as `outstanding` in Ofsted inspections. My passions are for physics and astronomy, science in general, gardening, sailing, snorkeling and camping. I also cook.

Availability: Daytime and evenings Thursday and Friday, some weekends.

Experience: My degree is in Physics with Astrophysics. I have taught GSCE and A-level Physics/Science since 1987. Most recently I was Head of Physics at a school in Thurrock, but I have taught in Waltham Forest, Kent, Newham and Haringey. My last A2 (as was) class was 100% A*, one student is now studying at Imperial College. My last AS class achieved 100% B or better on their coursework. Other past students are now studying at Churchill College, Cambridge, King`s (London) College and Brighton. Still other students are doing a Modern Apprenticeship at the BBC and are in the RAF.

My GCSE Physics and Science results are equally outstanding, my strengths there are Physics and Astronomy, but I can tutor Chemistry and Biology to GCSE.
