I am a dedicated Full Time Private Tutor specialising in Maths at Primary, Secondary, GCSE and Advanced Level and Science up to GCSE Level. Jamie`s Tuition is a professional tutoring business for which I am DBS/CRB certified and fully insured.

My lessons are fun, engaging and I offer students a unique chance to learn things at their own pace and with the freedom to ask whatever questions they want. If you or your child are struggling to enjoy or simply understand Maths and Science then I can help turn things around.

I help my students understand and enjoy Maths and Science by showing them the connections between different topics and subjects that are not often explained clearly in school. I focus on explaining the `why` before the `how`, giving my students the opportunity to approach new challenges by themselves and quickly gain confidence.

If classroom education is not enough for a student then my sessions will be a breath of fresh air - my tutorials are nothing like school lessons and are never boring!

Availability: Monday-Friday: Allocated slots for regular weekly sessions.
Saturday-Sunday: Available for ad-hoc tutorials.
School holidays: Available for ad-hoc tutorials.

Experience: Whilst studying for a Masters degree in 2012 I began tutoring Maths and Science in my local area. I enjoyed tutoring so much that I started up my own business and continued to work as a full time private tutor after completing my studies.

During the last 5 years I have worked with many families across South London, helping students achieve a variety of goals: from passing SATs, GCSEs, A-levels and 11+ exams to overcoming a range of confidence and behavioural barriers!

I specialise in tutoring students who struggle to excel in a classroom environment - using games, puzzles and other alternative activities I help them see the bigger picture and understand the connections between topics and subjects that might not have been clear before!
