Oxford has nearly always been my home, having been both where I was raised and where I eventually attended university. I left the Cherwell School in the north of the city with A-Levels in English Literature, History, Economics, and Drama & Theatre Studies, before making the short journey into the heart of town to read English Language and Literature at Mansfield College, Oxford.

After completing my degree, I tutored full-time for an academic year before undertaking a research Master`s at Queen`s University, Belfast, during which I specialised in Irish poetry. After graduating with a Distinction in 2018, I relocated to London and began working as a Professional Tutor for Keystone Tutors, the UK`s leading private tuition company, on a full-time basis.

Experience: I am a hugely experienced tutor, with over 1000 hours` experience teaching English and History on a one-to-one basis. For both subjects, I am very well-acquainted with the syllabuses of the major exam boards for (I)GCSE and A-Level, and have helped my students gain top grades in both subjects in the past. Many of my clients I have held for a number of years and, as such, I am used to planning long-term curricula for students, as well as preparing them for exams at short notice.

I am also well-acquainted with the demands of school entry tests, and have helped several younger students with 11+ and 13+ exams in the past. Many of my students have been successful in some of the most competitive application processes; I have helped students gain entry to schools like Westminster, St Paul`s, and Charterhouse, for example.
