I am an experienced and qualified Second Language Teacher (BA & MA) from Madrid. Former Head of the MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) department in a secondary school and Managing Director of a successful Private Language Centre. With a wide background in the field of foreign language teaching and acquisition (from University to Preschool education as well as Corporate), I am here to help you achieve your Spanish goals whatever they are!

Whether you are looking to improve your existing language skills; learn from scratch to be proficient when you travel around Spanish speaking countries or rock your A Levels and GCSEs with outstanding exam preparation. You name it, I can do it!

About my lessons:

My aim is to tailor every lesson to your goals in order to inspire and motivate you in your learning journey.

I provide all necessary materials during the lesson as well as homework support so you do not have to worry about anything!

I teach via Skype or Zoom and I offer individual and group lessons.

Experience: With over 12 years teaching experience, I have been successfully teaching English and Spanish at all levels (from 1 year old babies to adults), exams preparations, business classes, etc. My experience has provided me with an excellent background in the field of teaching, which is my passion, and has enabled me with the skills and methodology required to be a great teacher in every sense.

In Madrid, I had the privilege of being Head of the English Department at SLG Institute of Education and International Euro-American University during 5 years, in charge of all the English-related subjects teaching the language to adults at all levels required (on-site and on-line classes).

I have now been living in the UK for more than 8 years working as Head of the MFL department in secondary schools as well as CEO of my own Language Centre.

During this time time I have become an expert in the National Curriculum, the different exam boards and the ever changing new specifications. This has allowed me to prepare lots of students for the A Levels and GCSE exams with proven outstanding results.

I have taught Spanish to students of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds, at all levels. I have learned to address through my experience the main difficulties English speaking students face when learning Spanish as a Second Language. For this reason, I will always make sure my lessons meet each individual`s learning styles and needs.

My teaching method is rooted firmly in the communicative and task-based approach developing your ability to speak, read, write and understand the language regardless of your level. And, believe me, all of this can be great fun!
