Information about Alex
I am an optimistic, engaging 20 year old that enjoys teaching and interacting with people. I enjoy playing sport, mainly football, and also like acting. I currently tutor maths to two fourteen year old boys and I am looking to do some more tutoring during the week. I am currently on my gap year after getting 3 A*s at Esher College and am going to Warwick University next year. This year I am working as a teaching and learning support Assistant at Richmond Upon Thames School.
Availability: Monday, Friday: 2:00 PM onwards
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 4:30 PM onwards
Saturday and Sunday: Flexible
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I had previously tutored year 7`s at maths when I was 15 during my time at my old secondary school at Teddington. It was the volunteering part of my Duke of Edinburgh award. I have been tutoring maths to two boys for 6 months now and have been pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy it. I think it is a rewarding experience for both the tutor and student alike. After I won a Jack Petchey award for public speaking I realised that tutoring may be something that I would enjoy, and I was right.

Alex is doing a great job for our Son. He prepares well for lessons, has a great style of teaching capable of calibrating his message in a way the is easy for child to understand and respond to. Our Son actually now looks forward to double maths lessons!
