Jack

My name is Jack , I am a 23-year-old masters student from the University of Kent, just coming to the end of a post-graduate degree in Marketing and an undergraduate degree in English and International Literature.
Additionally, besides my academics, my primary passion in life is music. I have been playing the guitar for 15 years and have been singing for the last 4. My love of music has allowed me to do performances all across London and Kent, predominantly as a solo act but also sometimes as a session musician for bands.

Availability: Considering I have just finished my master`s degree, I am completely available and willing to travel whenever needed. Besides a few weddings and my graduation, I am spending this upcoming year focusing on my music and performing as a job across London. This, in turn, means I am very flexible on dates and times and am incredibly keen to do the most I can for the students I may tutor.

Experience: I have achieved a 2:1 in both a 3-year undergraduate course in English and International Literature, as well as a year-long masters in Marketing and Business.
Despite these two degrees, my strength is in English Literature as I have been studying it from GSCE with great passion till now, having achieved all A`s at every different academic level.

In regards to music, I have been playing the guitar for 15 years and have been singing for the last 5. I am trained in tablature as I was never taught how to read music, yet I have mainly taught myself by ear. I have taught a wide collection of friends and family the guitar and I believe that a patient and understanding approach is the best with such a technical instrument, especially at the earlier stages.
