Availability: My deep understanding of pedagogical principles helps guide my tutorship. Listening is an important part of tutoring and is often neglected by some tutors. Understanding what you hope to gain from the session(s) allows me to tailor a programme to address your specific needs.

I appreciate my rates may appear comparatively high and spending this sum is not a decision you should take lightly. However, given my level of experience, qualifications and positions I hold then I strongly believe you will find this a worthwhile investment. Those 1-2 hours may make all the difference to your future career.

I genuinely want you to feel like you have gained a lot from our session(s) and this is why I proudly offer you a complimentary 10 minute follow up debrief for any outstanding questions or queries you had.

I have an up to date Enhanced DBS check and have both Adult and Children Level 3 Safeguarding training.

Experience: I am a practising NHS GP and Honorary Lecturer at the University of Birmingham Medical School. I have a passion for, and vast experience in medical education, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Education and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy as well as being a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

I am a current Medical School interviewer and examiner of high-stakes assessments including GP Specialty Recruitment, Physician Associate OSCE’s and Medical School OSCE’s.
