Retired now from software development, I am pleased to be able to offer help to students wishing to do better in physics & maths examinations or just to improve their numeracy. It’s an advantage that I have not had years standing in front of a class: I see a student as an individual and it is natural to me to listen to them as an individual and discuss how to approach the topics.
I am good at communicating with quiet people, I appreciate the skills that a person brings to a session and use techniques to break down a distant goal into attainable steps. I am happy to suggest alternate ways of approaching problems, there is no one right way, different methods suit different people.

Availability: Afternoons, early evenings and weekends

Experience: I offer you one-on-one tuition to obtain better grades in maths & physics exams. I have a PGCE, a first class degree in physics and most of my career has been in software development.
