I am a reliable, personable and well qualified tutor, I have tutored over 30 students already with all students achieving their academic goals.
Speciality: Science, Engineering and Mathematics. Primary, Secondary (GCSE) and A level tuition (Maths, Further Maths, Physics) with Degree level tuition available too.

I studied a degree in Physics at Lancaster University and a Masters degree in Engineering, I am currently applying to be a PhD student at Manchester, Liverpool and Cambridge University.

My A levels were in Biology, Mathematics and Physics where I achieved AAA.

The lessons are always pupil focused with the student’s needs the center of the lesson. Initially the goals for the student are made and a plan of how to achieve these goals created. Then the student’s current ability is assessed, and the student’s weaknesses identified and incorporated into the plan so that the student makes real progress. As the student is tutored the plan is adapted and usually their goals readjusted to their progress, this usually means they aim for a higher grade than they initially thought they were capable of.

I believe studying the Sciences and Mathematics is a wonderful activity but appreciate they are challenging subjects which many can develop anxiety . I aim to dispel these anxieties and teach in a positive environment. In addition the fear of mathematics is high amount current generations, I am able to remove fear of mathematics in many students and improve their confidence.
My focus is on making things simpler and to work hard on the fundamentals. I avoid giving direct solutions to the students on any problem instead support them to come out with solution on their own. Having previous teaching and outreach experience he brings enrichment to each lesson focusing on not just getting an excellent grade but enjoying the subject and exploring the career goals of the student.
