I am a Classics student at Oxford. Having undergone an English education I am very familiar with the structure of English public exams and the secrets to getting the grades you want.

My teaching extends beyond class, including marking essays and homework outside the lesson.

When teaching the languages from scratch, I will set weekly vocabulary to learn outside the lesson whilst during my time with the pupil we will tackle grammar and syntax -one aspect at a time-, starting with a walk-through of how it works and then some exercises with a follow up homework which we will review the following time.

To meet specific requirements for public exams such as Common Entrance, GCSEs, A levels and Pre-Us as well as help with essay writing and university applications, I will tailor my lessons to suit each student`s syllabus and board. The lessons will be split between language work - which will consist of first going over any queries about marked homework and then addressing any grammar and syntax issues - and literature work - first we will run through a literal translation of set texts, then work on literary commentary and alongside this we will continue to work on essays-.

Availability: I am flexible schedule-wise and available to teach throughout the whole week.
