I am a PhD-educated, qualified teacher and examiner for chemistry with an outstanding track record of improving grades and confidence. My extensive subject knowledge and experience allow me to teach `beyond the syllabus`, giving students the deeper understanding essential for top grades.

With examining experience for GCSE, A level and International Baccalaureate Diploma chemistry, I understand the strategies needed for exam success and how to improve exam technique. Each year, on average over 80 % of my students achieve top grades and successfully gain entry to competitive degree programmes (such as medicine, dentistry and veterinary medicine) at world-class universities.

Experience: My professional experience has been developed through my roles as a qualified teacher of science, a private tutor of chemistry from school level to degree level, and as an examiner for GCSE, A level and International Baccalaureate Diploma chemistry. As a full-time professional online tutor, I have delivered over 3,000 hours’ tuition to students in 14 countries.

I have also enjoyed a successful career running a high-tech university spinout company, which gave me the real-world experience necessary to bring chemistry to life and teach beyond the textbook.
