Firstly, thank you for expressing interest in my English and Creative and Professional Writing tuition. I provide tuition for all ages, ranging from KS3 English to Creative and Professional Writing adult classes. I currently work as an English Teacher/Tutor in a secondary school in Newham.

I lead intervention lessons and one to one tuition for all KS3 and KS4 years, preparing resources in line with all English national curriculum topics. Consequently, I have a wealth of resources available immediately targeting key skills such as grammar, sentence structure and essay construction as well as all other English syllabus topics. Portfolios with my resources, students` work and assessments will be brought to my initial consultation for your viewing. I also teach an iGCSE class and provide one to one tuition for several GCSE students in the school. The students I work with have the largest gap between their working at grade and target grade and by reinforcing my pupils` subject knowledge, confidence and resilience, I guide each child towards challenging their expectations and achieving their full potential in English.

As a young graduate, I know how important a dedicated and pro-active tutor can be and it is for this reason that I use my extensive subject knowledge to create engaging lessons and my personal skills to build a strong and motivated rapport with my students.

Availability: Weekdays: 4pm-9pm.

Experience: I graduated last September with a high 2.1 (2 marks from a 1st) in Creative and Professional Writing. Whilst at University, I volunteered at a Creative Writing events organisation called Spread the Word and therefore have experience organising adult Creative and Professional Writing groups. I also have experience working in a school for children with special needs and have developed the skills necessary to adapt my tuition so it is accessible for children with special educational needs.
