Information about Jaskurun
Experienced in achieving exceptional results in 11+ Grammar and Independent School exams. I have valuable insight into the most up to date exam questions/material and developed my skills to teach younger pupils showing patient and using simplified methods to explain problems by creating structured plan for questions tailored to each individual.
Throughout my time at 6th form I have mentored my A level maths peers providing teaching and support which helped them achieve top grades. This enabled me to further my qualities to tutor at A Level standard and develop strong communication skills and taking new, different approaches to problem solving questions. I have a passion for teaching and a proven track record in learning which I aim to pass on to other pupils.
Availability: Flexible between now and September until I start university.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: To date I have tutored relatives and my younger sister to sit the 11+ and independent school entrance exams in which they gained places at KEHS independent girls school and received offers from all the top grammar schools including Wolverhampton, Handsworth, Sutton, Queen Marys, and Camphill schools.
For 11+ examination in the Birmingham consortium I achieved a score of 270+ which exceeded the offer score for all the top grammar schools in the West Midlands including Camphill boys and Queen Marys grammar school. I also achieved scholarships to both King Edward Boys and Solihull independent school based on my exam performance which placed me in the top 5% achievers. This makes me very experienced with 11+ material and independent school entrance exams which I used to tutor my sister to take grammar/independent school exams in which she also achieved stellar results.
During my time at King Edwards School for boys in Edgbaston I gained straight A*`s with level 9 in maths in my GCSEs. I studied A levels in Maths, Chemistry, Economics and Further Maths which I am predicted to achieve all A*s. I am currently considering university offers from Warwick, LSE and UCL to study BSc Economics to peruse a career in Investment Banking.
