I have a Masters in French from Oxford (Distinction), and a Double First-Class BA from Trinity College, Cambridge in German and French (Modern and Medieval Languages). I have also spent a year studying at France`s most prestigious university, the École normale supérieure in Paris.

I am currently preparing to study a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and can help improve students` confidence and resilience, as well as their exam performance, with my unique combination of empathy, psychological insight, and proven academic excellence.

I was awarded a rare full scholarship to study for my Masters at Oxford (the Hertford College - Faculty of Medieval and Modern Languages Scholarship), and later won a prize for my exceptional performance in the degree. My final-year dissertation at Cambridge was awarded the highest mark in the paper (module) across my cohort. In my second-year examinations I was ranked 14th out of over 160 students. In my final year I was awarded the Mathison Prize for being `an exemplary student`; I was also elected to both a Senior and Junior Scholarship in view of my exam performance. In 2014 I held a Summer Research Studentship, which supported my work as research assistant to Dr Jean Khalfa on his book `Frantz Fanon: Écrits sur l`aliénation et la liberté`.

At school, I received four A*s at A-Level (in Latin, Spanish, French, and German), and have 12 A*s at GCSE, including in Mandarin Chinese. I was also awarded an A* for my Extended Project Qualification, and A grades in AS-Level Critical Thinking and General Studies.

In preparation for a career as a Clinical Psychologist, I am currently volunteering with two social care charities, which I find immensely rewarding. I have an enhanced DBS certificate and have undergone extensive training with these organisations, including full safeguarding training.

In my free time I enjoy yoga, meditation, cycling, and visiting museums and galleries. I am a keen amateur photographer and like to read contemporary and world fiction and French literature. In addition to French and German, I also speak proficient Spanish, basic Portuguese and Italian, and beginners` Mandarin.

Experience: I have tutored several GCSE students in French, German, and Latin, and I have recently worked with a charity offering educational mentoring sessions to secondary school pupils. I worked with several students on a weekly basis to help them develop study skills and overcome the emotional and psychological blocks that were preventing them from reaching their full potential at school. As well as experience helping students learn to self-motivate and manage their own time, I have also taught in two German primary schools, giving lessons in both German and English.
