Information about Sharon
Please note I currently do not have availability for regular tutoring for GCSE and A Level.
I am an academic psychologist and lecturer with 7 years of experience as a trainer, holding a level 3 award in education and training (formally PTTLS) and an A1 Assessors award. I have 12 years of experience working within the field of psychology and before that, 10 years of experience working within childcare and education.
I specialise in the ability to work with a student-centered approach suitable for a wide range of needs and abilities. A free consultation meeting is provided to evaluate the best training programme for each student and ensure a good tutor `fit`.
Sessions can involve understanding the subject content better or be focused on essay feedback around structuring/content and how to increase grades. I am also able to help with exam preparation and modelling of exemplar essay-style answers to increase performance and confidence.

Availability: Currently, I have availability every weekday after 5pm.
Saturday and Sunday times also available.

I have 7 years of experience as a trainer in psychology to adult learners and health professionals.

I intended to only have a one off session with Sharon to support me with an aspect of my MSc Psychology dissertation. Sharon was immediately responsive to messages and booked me in for a session straight away. I found Sharon so approachable and she completely understood the difficulties I was having. She was really up to date with her knowledge and gave me lots of food for thought, answering my questions competently and confidently. I felt so much more at ease after talking to Sharon, and she really made me feel excited about my project again. I will now be using her for every remaining aspect of my dissertation because she was so passionate about my work and I feel as though she brought the best out in me because of this. I just wish I had contacted her earlier on in my degree!!!
