Information about Samir
Experienced tutor enjoys teaching through a good time. 1st Class degree in Physics University of Cambridge. Engaging and fun style.
Hello. My name is Samir, I`m 24 and live near Waterloo in London. I`m an experienced tutor who really enjoys working with eager students, and as such I`m looking to take on any who`d like to advance their understanding of maths and science.
The greatest satisfaction I get is when my students learn not just in a `tick the boxes, pass the exams, forget it all later` sort of way, but in a way as to actually truly learn and understand the subject.
A little about me: I`ve been living and working in London for 3 years as a financial services consultant for Oliver Wyman. Prior to that I attended Cambridge University, where I obtained a first class degree in Experimental and Theoretical Physics (coming top of my college as well as highly ranked within the year). My mother occasionally tutors herself, so that`s probably where I get my love of teaching from! She always encouraged me to work hard, and she taught me the value of understanding a concept as opposed to remembering it: which is something I like to pass on to those I teach.
I look forward to meeting you, please get in touch should you have any questions. Thanks!

We had an excellent support by Samir. His clear, personalised and rigorous support in physics, maths and further maths at A level was much appreciated as was his advice on future careers and being a great role model for a young adult.
