I am a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced teacher of Biology. I graduated from the University of Durham and completed my Masters in Education and PGCE at the University of Nottingham.

I currently teach at a top, independent girls school in Berkshire. I thoroughly enjoy building a rapport and good working relationship with my pupils. I take pride in creating an environment where my pupils feel confident and able to ask questions.

Each pupil requires a different strategy to improve, which we can work together to achieve. Some need a systematic approach approach to identify and work on misconceptions and knowledge gaps. Others are more confident with their knowledge require more support in application and exam technique.
Open and honest communication is the key to identifying which approach is most effective.

Availability: Due to the busy exam period, I currently have limited availability but have some slots on a Sunday.
Weekends: Sunday am and pm

Post May half term, I will have slots available on a Monday and Thursday evening.

Experience: I am a Biology specialist with over ten years experience in both the state and independent sectors.

I currently teach the Edexcel IGCSE and OCR A Level specifications, and tutor the Edexcel B A Level specification.
Previously, I have taught both the AQA and CIE A Level courses.

I also thoroughly enjoy teaching KS3, and can offer Science tuition for Year 7 and 8 pupils.
