I am a GPhC registered pharmacist who has been practicing for over 3 years now. Currently, I am working in community pharmacy, however my aim is to pursue a teaching career in the future. I have always been interested in the sciences and excelled in these subjects throughout my study. Now I wish to bring my knowledge and apply it in helping students that may be struggling in certain topics, and hope to inspire them to become passionate about the sciences as I do. As a pharmacist, I must make detailed calculations regularly for patient doses which can produce a life or death outcome, thus I am very careful and thorough with everything I do. Having obtained my pharmacy degree as well, I have abundant clinical knowledge which contains major elements of both chemistry and biology.

Experience: As a community pharmacist, I constantly train new staff that are aiming to become accredited dispenser technicians or pharmacy students. As a mentor, I am always available to answer their questions and guide them through processes step by step. Currently I also teach at Sunday School to 8-12 year olds, so I am very familiar with a small classroom setting, with the class size of about 8 children. I am capable in keeping to lesson objectives and managing distractions. I have had my DBS check as it is a requirement for being a pharmacist as well as a teacher. In addition, I am one of the youth leaders for a weekly youth group, so I have a lot of interactions with 12-18 year olds, giving them guidance and support as needed.
