Information about Adam
I have been teaching in Secondary schools both in Oxford and Cheshire for over 25 years. Before becoming a teacher I gained my PhD in Biological Sciences and completed postdoctoral research. I am an established, successful teacher with lots of experience as a marker for A level and GCSE Biology exams. I enjoy helping students achieve and do their very best.

Experience: I am an experienced Biology teacher, with extensive knowledge of KS3 Science, GCSE Biology, AS and A-Level Biology. I am also an examiner for AQA GCSE Science. I have started teaching the new AQA A-Level Biology syllabus and have started to teach the new AQA syllabus in Combined Science and Biology. I am also an Assistant Head of Sixth Form at my school and the School Coordinator for the Extended Project Qualification.

Adam taught GCSE science to my daughter. He is an excellent tutor, punctual and reliable.
He is organised and structured in his teaching. He gave my daughter lots of practice materials to help her suuceed to A-level Grammar school.

Adam has been an A-level Biology tutor for my son. His tutorial sessions are very well-structured according to a well-planned schedule. He has access to the latest revision materials and has an in-depth knowledge of the exam marking scheme. Together with a systematic revision, he has also provided detailed feedback on the practice of past papers, especially on the weaknesses identified in practice. For instance, the understanding and answering essay type questions had been one of the difficulties, which has then become one of the strengths. With Adam’s help, my son has got an excellent exam result and a place in an excellent university in the country.

Adam helped my son with his Biology for his GCSE. I can sum Adam up in one word...amazing! Always on time, fantastic communication and most importantly, took my son from a B grade to an A*. My son found his lessons interesting and Adam taught him in a way where the information sunk in. I cannot thank Adam enough for his hard work and dedication and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Biology tutor.
