Information about Leighanne

I have many years teaching experience and am up to date with current specifications. I enjoy working with students and seeing them progress. I have good communication skills and am adept at explaining difficult concepts to through a variety of different methods.

Availability: I currently have availability on Wednesday evenings and on Saturday.

For A-level students, I may be able to offer day time sessions to coincide with home study periods.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have 15 years teaching experience, working in both selective and non-selective schools.
I qualified as a science teacher initially, but have specialised in Chemistry for the past 10 years at A-Level and GCSE. I am also a Chemistry examiner (GCSE). I have also taught Psychology for a number of years at both GCSE and A-level.

My daughter has been very fortunate to find Leighanne . She is able to adapt her teaching methods to match the student`s learning style and maximise their potential.She has set and marked essays, highlighting where to make improvements and gives positive and motivational feedback. Only wish we had discovered her sooner.
