Information about Alexander
I am a researcher and curator currently working on a Doctorate in Media Archaeology at Anglia Ruskin, Cambridge. Effectively, this entails writing about modern technology in the context of the history of science, and working in the archives of institutions like the Science Museum, Imperial College and the British Library.
I am interested in supporting academic writing and research, particularly science, medicine, business or social studies students and professionals who are looking to communicate their work effectively.
I am also interested in supporting college and GCSE students in preparing for national qualifications, and in helping younger students prepare for school entry or other examinations.
Availability: Most afternoons and evenings.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have worked as a tutor, teaching and research assistant for several years, and have recently begun conducting my own lectures (I taught last term on the philosophy and art history of digital games). I have also worked at the Digital Media Academy in the United States, a summer school for 9-18 year-olds learning about game design and film production.Contact this Tutor
