Information about Glen
Hi I`m a specialist Psychology teacher at an outstanding school, an Examiner for AQA and have lectured for various universities. I enjoy tutoring privately and have an excellent record of helping my students to achieve the grades they need. Some have been struggling with their studies at school and have just needed extra support to help them catch up or pass PPE exams, whilst others have been achieving A-B grades and were looking for the extra help needed to secure A*s as required for their university applications. I am very pleased to say all my students have so far achieved what they wanted. Experience: I have 10 years experience of teaching A level Psychology in school, (my specialism is the current AQA specification). I graduated in Psychology with honours and I have further enhanced my teaching with a Masters degree in Education.
Prior to being a Psychology teacher I studied and taught personal and academic development programmes designed to help students enhance their academic achievements. I am also currently an examiner for AQA and have been privately tutoring now for 7 years. I am pleased to say I have helped dozens of private students to achieve their goals.

Glen has proven to be an absolute asset as a superb teacher with a strong understanding of his subject. He has both managed to increase my daughter`s knowledge as well as her confidence in the understanding of psychology at A level.

Glen has been great in helping me understand the content in A-level psychology in a fun and engaging way. He is kind and patient in his teaching and always has very helpful exam questions that are useful for testing my learning. As an A-level student studying 3 other subjects, I was unsure on how to revise psychology and prepare for exams, however with Glen`s tutoring I have been able to get higher grades than before as I now understand how to write answers for exam questions and get the most marks I can by applying the key terms required and the relevant information. His extra little bits of information for AO1 and AO3 content also make learning the subject more interesting, whilst also providing background information which can be used later in essays.

Fantastic tutor! Made a massive difference to my son’s understanding and enthusiasm for the subject. My only regret is we waited until the second term of the first A level year - we should have had Glen from day one.
