My students will feel supported whilst studying GCSE/A Level Mathematics. I am passionate about making strides in Mathematics which I plan to pass onto students when I support them on their journey to achieving the best grades they can in GCSE/ A-Level Mathematics.

I will help my students identify areas in which they need to improve and together find the best ways for them to do so. I provide tutorials, practice questions and past papers so that I can give feedback on how to improve on each of the resources my students would have worked through.

I can relate to and explain Mathematical concepts to many different personalities, which I have harnessed from working with the University of Manchester`s African-Caribbean Society.
Being a peer mentor for five years has also provided me with the patience and understanding that I believe is vital when working with students.

Experience: I plan to use my A* in both GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and my A in GCSE Statistics to help my students gain a deeper understanding of Maths.
My previous experience of helping students to improve their grade has been very rewarding and I am committed to helping other students reach their highest potential in their Maths GCSE.
Being involved in activities such as the “UK Maths Trust Challenge” and being a “Maths Mentor” increased my love for the subject. I received the Croydon Schools Award for Mathematics at Key Stage 4 in recognition for my skills in the subject and I plan to apply these skills in helping students reach their full potential in Mathematics GCSE and A-Level.
