I have just finished a 1 year Masters at Sheffield University following a four year Physics BSc at the University of Bath with a 2:1. During my undergraduate degree I undertook a placement year (2015) where I worked in Switzerland at an avalanche research institute which lead onto my MSc in Geophysics

Currently working full time in London at an NHS software company on the implementation and analysis team.

I have been a dedicated and active member of the triathlon team throughout my time at university, so I will probably arrive at tutoring sessions on my bike!

Availability: Available after work (6.30pm) and weekends on the lead up to exams

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have volunteered at St. Gregory`s school in Bath throughout my final year at Bath University. I helped out with regular physics lessons and lead extra classes to help students with problems in their studies.
I also volunteered to be a mentor for first year Physics students while studying at Bath. I helped around 4 students each semester with any academic or personal problems they may have in their first year at university.

Tutored A level Physics in Sheffield (2017):
"Amy really helped with my understanding of key concepts and ideas behind the physics which meant I found answering questions a lot easier as I could understand the concepts. The way we went through exam papers really helped my technique and understanding of the content and it was really useful that as the exams neared we switched from content lessons to exam paper lessons to prepare me for the exams. Tutored GCSE Physics and Maths in sheffield (2017):
"Amy really helped me a lot with preparing for my physics GCSE exam, prior to the the exam we went through lots and lots of past papers, which proved very effective and useful as it helped me with my exam technique. To me, Unit 3 included most of the difficult topics in the entire course, such as transformers and the motor effect, and she helped me get through it.
