Hi there!

I am an experienced, qualified KS3, GCSE and A Level English teacher with a great knowledge of the AQA English GCSE specification. I have experience teaching pupils from a variety of backgrounds and abilities. I aim to awaken your child’s passion for learning whilst ensuring they are developing the array of skills needed to excel in English Language and Literature.

Through bespoke, personalised tutoring sessions, I will identify your child’s strengths and areas of improvement. We will then work together to ensure those strengths are being challenged whilst making progress across all areas.

My own passion for English Literature definitely filters through to my pupils. Through exploratory discussion and questioning, we will build the foundation needed to cultivate analytical writing skills. Which will then be followed by essay writing formulas and practice to ensure those initial skills are embedded.

In regards to English language, I specialise in Creative Writing and advocate for its importance. It is an integral part of the Language GCSE and a fantastic skill for your child to have. Through tailored creative writing workshops, your child will develop the skills and flair needed to excel in their English Language studies.

Availability: My availability is weekday evenings Mon - Thurs. I am also available weekend mornings and afternoons.
